Just recently decided to give sick beard a go, brilliant stuff, tried it with torrents at first but with a newsgroup account this thing has made the laborious job of grabbing all my shows almost effortless.

A little more tweaking to my XBMC setup and I think it will finally be complete.

I didn't want to let go of my workflow. I've been a big fan of direct downloads from file hosting joints. but the manual searching, unpacking, renaming and moving of files was becoming tiresome. i had the brain wave to google an automatic solution and discovered sick beard. initially i didn't want to have to invest money and time in the world of usenet. but i took the plunge and after some research and setup i am blown away by how fricken cool sick beard is. last night i added some shows to download from within my media centre Plex. i didn't have to leave the couch! awesome!

so a massive thank you to the devs of this sensational app.

Discovered this baby 45 minutes ago. Set it up on my NAS with SABnzbd 40 minutes ago. Easily went though the config within a couple of minutes. Played around a bit...

... and donated $15 five minutes ago. I ask everyone here to do the same. I'm a developer myself. Sure, it's a hobby and it's fun to develop a piece of software, especially if the reception from the community is well... but there's no feeling like the feeling when you buy a beer at the local pub with the money some random stranger donated because he loved your work. There has to be shitloads of workhours in this baby. Go on. donate. Give a little something back.

Another HUGE THANKYOU from me. Be for sickbeard I use to spend HOURS each night hunting down new eps. I had no idea about nzb's. Because of sickbeard I now spend all my time ENJOYING tv again!!!!! Torrent hunting is a thing of the past!!!! I will be donating once the season is over and I have extra cash again!!!!!
